Privacy Policy
This policy explains the data that Mahattaty (“we”) collects when you use the website or app, why we collect it, and how you can control it.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: Name, mobile number, date of birth (to confirm you are 18 or older), account type (station owner, looking to rent a station, looking to buy a station, job seeker, maintenance technician, maintenance company, or fuel transport truck owner), email (optional), and your password, which is stored encrypted and which we cannot read.
- Inquiries: The name, phone number, email and notes you send when requesting listing details.
- Listing data (for owners): The listing description, location, price (rent or sale) and the photos you upload.
- Employment data: If you're a job seeker: your profession, city, area, years of experience, shift, expected salary, bio, and the jobs you applied to. If you're a station owner: your job posts and their applicants.
- Transport truck listings: Truck or trailer type, capacity, number of compartments, make, model and year, your answers about the smart card and calibration certificate, plate number and license expiry date (both optional), and the price, city and photos.
- Maintenance data: If you're a station owner: your maintenance requests (type, issue, city and area, budget), the quotes you received, and your ratings of technicians. If you're a technician or maintenance company: your business name, field of work, cities, experience, bio, quotes, and the ratings you received.
- Favorites and notifications linked to your account.
- Security logs: Your IP address, login times and administrative actions, to protect accounts and prevent abuse.
We don't use ads or ad-tracking tools, and we don't sell your data to anyone. We don't access your device's contacts or location. We access your photos only when you choose to upload a photo for your listing.
2. Why we use it
- To run your account and show listings, favorites and your requests.
- For the Mahattaty team to contact you about listings you requested details on, and to arrange site visits and offers.
- To review listings added by owners before publishing.
- To send in-app notifications about the status of your requests and listings.
- Security, fraud prevention and legal compliance.
3. Who can see your data
- Mahattaty team (authorized staff only).
- Listing owner: We don't share your contact details with the owner unless you agree during negotiation.
- Service providers: Hosting and storage, email service, and SMS service (only to send a password reset code to your number), to the extent needed to run the service.
- Government authorities When legally required.
- Station owners (for job seekers): Your profile (first name, profession, city, experience, expected salary, bio) is visible only to registered station owners, without your number. Your name and number are shown to a station owner when you apply to their job, or when they request your number from your profile — in which case you'll be notified. You can hide your profile at any time by turning off “Available for work”.
- In maintenance: Maintenance requests are shown to registered technicians without your full name or number (only your first name is shown). Your number is shown only to the technician whose quote you accept. A technician's name and number are shown to a station owner when the technician sends them a quote, or when the station owner requests the number from the technician directory (the technician is notified). Technician profiles (business name, field of work, cities, ratings) are public in the technician directory, and ratings show the reviewer's first name.
- In transport truck listings: The listing (details, photos, price and city) is public once published, and only the seller's first name is shown with it. The plate number is visible only to you and the Mahattaty team. Your name and number are shown to a registered user who taps “Show seller's number”, and you're notified when this happens.
Published listing and job details (title, description, photos, price, salary and city) are public and visible to all visitors, without the owner's details.
4. Data retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. Backups are automatically deleted after 14 days. Security logs are kept for as long as needed to protect the service.
5. Deleting your account
You can permanently delete your account at any time in the app: My account → Delete account, or from the Delete account page on the website. When you delete it:
- Your account, favorites and notifications are deleted immediately.
- Your personal data (name, phone, email and notes) is removed from the inquiries you sent.
- Your published listings stop appearing and are detached from your account.
- Your employment profile, posted jobs and job applications, maintenance requests, quotes and technician profile, and transport truck listings and their photos are deleted, if any.
- A copy may remain in backups for up to 14 days and is then automatically deleted.
6. Your rights
You can view and edit your data in the app, and request a copy, correction or deletion by contacting us.
7. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), password encryption, login attempt limits, and restricted staff permissions.
8. Children
The service is intended for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 18.

Privacy Policy (English summary)
Mahattaty collects your name, mobile number, date of birth (to confirm you are 18+), account type, an optional email, and the messages you send when requesting listing details. Your mobile number or email is used to send password-reset codes. If you list a property, we also collect its description and the photos you upload. If you look for work, we store your job profile (role, city, experience, shift, expected salary, short bio) and your applications; station owners see your profile without your number, and see your name and number only when you apply to their job or request it from your profile (you are notified). Employers' job posts and their applicants are stored too. For maintenance, station owners' requests (type, problem, city, budget) are shown to registered technicians without the owner's name or number; the owner's number is shared only with the technician whose quote they accept. Technicians' business profiles and ratings are public in the directory; their number is shared with an owner when they send a quote or when the owner requests it (the technician is notified). We log IP addresses for security. We do not use ads or ad tracking, we do not sell data, and we do not access your contacts or location. Data is used to operate your account, let our team follow up on your requests, review listings, and send in-app notifications. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Account → Delete account) or at /delete-account. Your account, favorites, notifications, job profile, job posts and applications are erased immediately, personal details are removed from your requests, and backups expire within 14 days.
